J. David (Josh) Cohen is a media psychologist who explores the psychological effects of pop culture and technology. With a PhD in psychology and a passion for storytelling, he bridges science and society for curious readers. Cohen is a visiting scholar at Fielding Graduate University, working in their entertainment research lab. Cohen is an adjunct instructor at Empire State University of New York where he created their first online Media Psychology course. Cohen has co-authored a textbook on media psychology, Understanding Media Psychology, now in its second edition.
